Olivia Loadwick is a corporate finance and strategy specialist.  Since graduating as a University Medal awardee, Olivia has forged a successful career in investment banking, advising some of the world's leading companies on corporate strategy, capital management and mergers and acquisitions as well as providing advice on policy for State and Federal governments. In 2014 she was a recipient in the Australian Financial Review/Westpac 100 Women of Influence Awards.

Her International Business degree from Griffith University was the platform for the commencement of an international career.  In 2002 Olivia was selected as the only Australian recipient of one of 10 scholarships awarded internationally in the Samsung Electronics Global Scholarship Program, a prestigious appointment involving two years of Masters study and strategic work for Samsung Electronics in Seoul, South Korea.  In her role with Samsung Olivia had the opportunity to drive the commercialisation of Samsung's Mobile WiMax technology working in the United States and South Korea.

Olivia's work has since taken her to China, Singapore, the Middle East, Europe and New Zealand.  In 2014 Olivia was invited to participate in Australia's historic delegation to China, which led to the signing of the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement.  Significantly in that year Olivia was also invited to participate in critical dialogue at the B20 business leaders meetings in Sydney, Australia.
   
Olivia's other passion is as a social entrepreneur with a focus on the empowerment of women. She is the immediate past Chair of Habitat for Humanity's Committee for Women and was instrumental in the development of Habitat's 'Leadership Action' programme.  In 2013 she was asked to speak at TEDx on her mission to develop better funding solutions for social impact projects (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQtkU5sGEg8). Olivia is also the co-founder of the Glass Elevator, an initiative which focuses on building the pipeline of female talent in business and Government, supported by Australia's largest organisations and most prominent CEOs.  Olivia is also the Non-Executive Chairman of Global Sisters, a not-for-profit organisation providing micro-finance to foster female entrepreneurship in disadvantaged communities. 

Olivia is currently Director, Corporate Advisory at Adara Partners, a world-first investment bank for-purpose working with Australia's most prominent investment bankers and leaders of industry. In this role she provides advice to leading corporates, Government and high net worth families on mergers & acquisition, capital management and corporate strategy with 100% of profits going to assist women and children in need in developing countries.  Prior to joining Adara, Olivia was Executive Director of global advisory firm, Pottinger.
