MultiPanel is working with national retailer Australian Geographic to brighten the dreary interiors of stores right across the country. Sounded out by Australian Geographic, MultiPanel collaborated with EDS Designs and SignLite to replicate the stars of the Southern Cross for store ceilings.

As a national symbol, the Southern Cross fits perfectly with Dick Smith’s underlying goal in establishing the Australian Geographic Journal in 1985: to inspire and present a positive view of Australia.  Once completed, the stars were initially implemented at the Rouse Hill store.  Due to positive results, it is expected that at least 6 stores will be fitted out by Christmas.  The versatility of MultiPanel means that every Australian Geographic store will eventually have a three dimensional Southern Cross hanging from its ceiling.
