Real Women Australia is ending 2010 with a bang!

December has been so exciting, lots of Personal Shop & Style appointments, the Curvy Revolution Models Christmas Party  and planning some new events for 2011. 

I had a very special honour this month and it certainly completed what has been a sensational year.  I was named in The Age (melbourne) Magazine as one of Melbourne's Top 100 Most Influential People of 2010!!! 

I had alot of fun with the photoshoot, and decided to represent myself alongside the newly released "plus-size mannequins" we started to see appear in stores this year.  The image clearly shows we still have a long way to go!  These mannequins are definately larger than the standard store mannequins, but about a foot taller than me (and at 170cm, I'm not short!).  Real Women Australia will continue to stay true to our mission "to educate & remain passionate about pushing the boundaries" in 2011 and beyond.

My partner Pete and  I were invited to a cocktail party at 28 at Crown Metropol to celebrate this honour. It was truly  amazing to be in a room with such inspirational people, all striving to achieve and make a difference in their chosen fields.  The night was a huge success and we thoroughly enjoyed the views out over stormy Melbourne from the 28th floor!

I felt fabulous in my gorgeous frilled shirt from Harlow Moon Fashion, signature belt from Coussinet and skirt from TS14+!

The Curvy Revolution Christmas party was a great evening of yummy food, steamy weather and great company.  It was an opportunity for the whole agency to meet and socialise.  It's such a pleasure to have a team of such passionate, committed and fun ladies who are gorgeous to boot!  Thank you ladies, you have truly helped me to make a difference in the realistic & identifiable representation of garments for curvy women.  2010 WAS the year of the Curvy Revolution plus-size model!

This brings to a close what can only be described as a year that has been truly magnificent. 

We have stuck to our philososphy, followed our mission and gone from strength to strength.  I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your unwavering support during 2010 and I look forward to a fabulous 2011 at Real Women Australia.
