Petries Cottage

It has been happening for years where chemicals are introduced and allowed to be used years before we discover they are toxic. Bisphenol A is a product we use on a regular basis which has been linked to increasing prevalence of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and liver abnormalities. Bisphenol A is a plasticiser often found in water bottles with recycling numbers 3 or 7. It is now found in 90% of the population.  We are not only what we eat but what we drink, breathe and touch. This is where complete and thorough detoxification is needed, and where I come into help.

As I have told my clients time and time again “don’t start detox with your liver… your gut is the essential starting point for detox”. Having the wrong kind of bacteria in your gut is similar as having the wrong kind of cells in your liver. A balance of friendly verses hostie organisms is needed. Dysbiosis causes disruption in the gut and hence influences detoxification capacity. Bacterial endotoxins are located in the cell walls of dysbiotic bacteria and are very inflammatory. Herbs assisting in gut detoxification include Artemisia annua and also berberine containing herbs.
I am sure I don’t need to explain the numerous health benefits that detox can do; you already know how it can promote your overall health.  Beware that over the counter detox kits will release the toxins from your organs, circulating the toxins around the blood stream, but not removing them.

Our 6 week detox program releases and removes all toxins. You will be supplied with your own little detox book to take home - full of helpful hints and fantastic recipes. Call the clinic to start your steps to better health.
