Breakfast and Networking Series On Friday 28 February, 85 excited guests gathered early at the Pullman Brisbane for the first Griffith Business School Alumni Network Breakfast event for 2014. Guests were not disappointed and enjoyed an excellent presentation from our very own Professor Peter Jordan on the topic of Emotional Intelligence: The role of emotion in the workplace. Guests were enthralled as they listened to Peter’s theories on the value of emotion in a workplace and the connection between emotion, cognition and productivity. Peter also discussed how positive and negative emotions are effective cues managers can use to identify issues that need to be addressed in the workplace.
