Welcome to the second edition of Get Connected for 2014.

In recent weeks you may have been contacted about the Griffith Business School's Transforming Business Appeal. With the completion of the new business building at the Gold Coast campus, this appeal is raising funds to assist students through the Alumni Future Generations Scholarship, and to help create world-class learning environments. This month I made a donation to the appeal, and I encourage you to do the same.

I did not give so my donation was recognised on the alumni wall, although it is nice to have my time at Griffith commemorated in the new building. My reason for donating was much larger. I gave because I believe my donation will make a difference to the development of future business leaders. My time at Griffith Business School opened many doors for me, and I want to contribute back to the School to ensure it continues to provide opportunities for students and the local community.

The Griffith Business School deserves to be an icon of the Gold Coast and the new building is helping make that happen. I invite all alumni to attend an exclusive preview event for the new home of Business at Griffith University on Thursday 22 May.Don't miss the opportunity to be one of the first to walk through the doors and experience something special. Register now.

As always, I encourage you to be an active and engaged member of our Alumni Network. Please stay connected with us on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Best wishes,

David Morgan
