A word from the Clinic Directors
Dr Giulian Di Venuto - OsteopathKellie Rawlings - Osteopath

Once again the winter has arrived in the northern hemisphere and Dr Giulian and Dr Kellie are heading back to their clinic in Italy to treat winter athletes in the Alps.

Giulian will be presenting at a number of conferences and delivering 'Masters Series' lectures at some of the Osteopathic Universities in Italy and in the UK.

While he is away, we have recruited our locum, Dr Samuel Nevins, to take over his shifts and to see his patients while he is away.

Dr Sam comes from Melbourne and has been treating alongside our friend and colleague Dr Nick Harrison at the Spring Osteo Clinic in Surrey Hills. Read more about Sam below

Acupuncture at MOVE Osteopathy - Elizabeth Street Clinic

We are happy to let you know that both of our acupuncturists, Susan Maughan and Nick Smith, have now received their provider numbers and HICAPS has been activated to enable you to directly claim your rebate at the time of consultation.

Both Nick and Susan, with your permission, are able to discuss your treatment with your Osteopath and work together with them to provide you the best possible treatment.

Dr Giulian's work in Italy

This year Dr Giulian returns to continue his work in Northern Italy. He will be working at the orthopedic trauma centre and operating his private practice in Sauze d'Oulx in the heart of the Alps.

His practice there focuses on treating athletes and ski industry professionals. He focuses on injury management and best performance through optimal biomechanical function. This year he will work more closely with coaches and exercise professionals to tweak and tailor programs for their athletes to achieve better form and function.

Dr Giulian will again present at the conference of the International College of Osteopathic Medicine in Milan and attend a number of osteopathic universities to lecture on manipulative procedures and his ideas on releasing and treating things.

Dr Samuel Nevins - Osteopath

Whilst Dr Giulian is away, Osteopath Dr Samuel Nevins will be joining the team. Dr Sam has been practicing at our good friend's clinic in Surry Hills Melbourne and has recently made the move to Brisbane. He comes highly recommened to us.

Dr Sam enjoys treating a variety of sportsmen and women, tradesmen and desk-bound patients. Sam believes osteopathy is an exceptional approach to treating many types of workplace and sports injuries.

He specialises in post-injury rehabilitation and invests time with his patient to develop direct prevention and or management strategies for the future.
Sam comes from a rural and sporting background, he has played in many levels of Australian Rules Football and most recently played for Bayswater Football Club. He also enjoys swimming and weight training.

Dr Nick Ritter - Osteopath
Dr. Nick Ritter is a New Zealand trained Osteopath who has treated a multitude of different presenting complaint since 2007. His passion for Osteopathy includes treating acute and chronic headaches, digestive problems in adults and infants and acute back injuries . He has also developed a keen interest in treating the structural components of the body which influence and support anxiety disorders.

Nick has been involved in the practice of martial arts and boxing since a young age, he has a unique understanding of the skills involved and the types of injuries sustained. Through both his own training and working with various martial artists Nick has developed a special interest and understanding in treating both acute traumatic and chronic injuries and optimising performance for martial arts and boxing.

Farewell to Dr Grant Sinclair - Osteopath Alex Hills

We wish our Osteopath, Dr Grant Sinclair, all the best of luck in his new ventures and his return to Northern NSW.

Grant was a valued Osteopath to our team at Alexandra Hills. Dr Grant has worked hard to ensure that his patients will be well looked after by our team of Osteopaths at our Alexandra Hills Clinic. Dr Hilton and Dr Ashleigh are happy to have Osteopath Dr Nick Ritter join the team and who will be taking over the days that Dr Grant had worked

Nathan Stolz - Remedial Massage Therapist at Move Osteopathy Brisbane CBD

Nathan Stolz - Diploma of Remedial Massage.


As a graduate from the Australian College of Natural Medicine, with the Diploma of Remedial Massage, Nathan has been in the industry for over ten years. In this time he has worked in a variety of locations from five star resorts, to alpine holiday destinations, as well as also having the chance to work with professional sporting teams and individual athletes.

Years of treating experience has allowed Nathan to refine his style to include a blend of massage techniques to treat a variety of musculoskeletal issues. In his treatments, Nathan will typically use a combination of sports and deep tissue massage, with trigger point release, muscle energy and activation techniques, myofascial release, cupping and a variety of stretches. Massages can be tailored to suit your needs, from a deep tissue to target those stubborn chronic injuries, to a relaxation massage for general well being and stress relief, to a combination of both.
