Happening at SWSAS ..
SWSAS Golf Day and Academy
Games an enormous 'Success'
April was a HUGE month here at SWSAS.
The beginning
of April saw the Academy take over 100 athletes and coaching staff representing 5 different sports, to
the Central Coast to participate in the 2016 'ClubsNSW' Regional Academy Games.
And,
I am proud to say the Academy came away with some outstanding individual and team results, in all sports.
April also included the staging of the Academy's annual Golf Day, and Campbelltown City Council's
Mayoral Reception for Academy athletes.
We are proud to say the Golf Day raised $9,000 for
the SWSAS Golf Program, due to the generosity of many, especially the Antill Park Country Golf Club in
it's provision of the venue.
A very special thank you goes to the NSW Harness Racing Club for
its 'naming rights' sponsorship and the 'Property Club' for its event sponsorship support.
Congratulations to our nett winners the NSW Harness Racing Club and scratch winners' Mythos United. And,
thank you to each and every participant and everyone behind the scene for making the day such an enjoyable
success.
We look forward to seeing you again next year.
