Another Amazing Year for
SWSAS
What a sensational year the Academy has had, more additional sports; with more to commence
this month and in the New Year!! It sounds like a re-run of 2015 and 2014, but it is true. We are the
fastest growing Academy in NSW by a very long way.
Highlights of the year included being awarded
the Liverpool City 'Australia Day Medal' for Sport and a prized 'National Volunteer Award'.
But, the best awards of all have come from unsolicited letters and emails from the parents and families
of our athletes; stating how pleased they are with the Academy programs and what an effect they have had
on their child's attitude, health and in a number of specific cases school development.
Therefore
an enormous thank-you and congratulations must go to all of the Academy's 70 plus volunteer staff members,
for a job well done.
