NEW Digital Anti-Scuff Matt Film New film just arrived
Our latest shipment of Premium Celloglazing Film has arrived, including yet another new addition
to our range... Digital
Grade Anti-Scuff Matt Laminate.
It maintains the same high-quality as our range of Premium
DigiBOPP Laminating Film, but with the added benefit of being highly scuff resistant.
Standard
Matt laminate gives a great finish to your job, but is prone to marking and can scratch quite easily.
This is most noticeable when printing with a solid colour like black or blue.
The
Anti-Scuff Laminate does exactly what it says and prevents all these general markings due to a specially
designed hard coated layer which protects the look and feel of the matt finish. This ensures that even
after binding and post-processing, the job is still perfect and provides a better overall finish. Compatible
with spot UV varnishing and foiling, anti-scuff matt film has been around for some time, the big difference
now being able to offer it with digital adhesive for shorter runs.
There is a slight cost increase
compared with normal Matt Laminate, but the overall protection is worth it to get the longest lifespan
from your products.

Tech Tips: What to compare with Applicator
Tables Comparing apples with apples...
With multiple Flatbed Applicator Tables now available on the
Australian market, many people are understandably confused as to what they should compare when it comes
to these machines. As the old adage suggests, you need to make sure you're comparing apples with apples.
As Australia's laminating specialists with over 20 years of industry experience, we know what
makes a great machine and here's what we look for in an Applicator Table.
Surface:
Make sure your mounting surface is perfectly flat and not in sections. Cheap machines have
many panels of glass which invarably result in a slightly uneaven surface which will reflect on your laminating
and mounting. We supply our units with 100% Australian manufactured Chevron glass (1 panel or 2 depending
on the size of the table) and this adds immense value and a quality finish other units cannot match.
Weight & structure: Just like a laminator, the quality of the build
of a table is reflected in the weight. Any table that comes in pieces or requires assembly on site
won't have the same strength found in a quality build. Look under the table and assess the thickness
of the extrusion used, as well as the amount of support it has all the way down the bed.
Roller
& Gantry: A Gantry assists in applying even pressure which needs to be applied the entire
width of the roller to ensure there is no bowing or flexing when mounting and laminating. Units without
a support beam / weight across the roller struggle to keep form when additional pressure is required.
Bells & Whistles: A lot of machines boast features that really aren't required
and just get in the way of work (such as trimmers etc..) A good solid table with quality glass
should also have dual control roller pressure, a quality self healing surface liner, back-lit table lighting
and heavy duty castors for easy relocation.
All these features are what makes the Sign
Master Applicator outstanding value for money. We encourage you to download
a brochure and contact us
or one of our distributors for a quote today.
Matt's Wrap: Sign Master Applicator Installs
Still need convincing this machine is right
for your business?
Matt has just successfully installed another three metre Sign
Master Applicator for Drever Signs in Ballarat. It's looking great in their brand new work space!
Hear what our happy customers have to say about this great piece of machinery...
"We
have recently installed a new Sign Master Applicator Table into our Victorian factory. This recent addition
has increased not only productivity and efficiency but also reduced our wastage and re-work. We will definitely
be installing more of these in our operations throughout Australia. In a competitive market where margins
are tight anything that gives you that edge helps" - Clay, Bentleigh Group
"I don't know why we didn't get one sooner. The Sign Master Applicator Table has become an
important and integral part of our production, it's easy to use and saves so much time when over-laminating
rigid materials, flexible materials and even applying application tapes. We now produce a perfect result
every time" - Martin, Price Screen & Digital
"We certainly made a great decision
when we bought our Sign Master Applicator Table. Production is now super fast, it leaves no air bubbles
or defects and can easily be done with only one operator. I would recommend this machine to anyone in
the signage industry" - Darren, Read Brothers Signs
We will also have one of these
units on display at Pacprint from
23rd to 26th of May. Make sure you pop in to stand E60 for a demonstration, so you can experience the
benefits of this machine for yourself!
