A final 2018, word from
the Executive Director
What an 'exciting and amazing' year 2018 has
been for the Academy. The energy and support from inside and outside of the Academy, has been overwhelming.
The Academy's 'naming rights' partner the Campbelltown Catholic Club has again lead the way. And,
on behalf of all associated with the Academy, we congratulate the Club on its 50th Birthday Anniversary.
We are also extremely proud of our athletes and volunteer coaches and support staff members', who
have achieved so much individually and as a group, over the past 12 months.
And special congratulations
go to Academy Softballer Blake Hunter, the recently named Macarthur Chronicle 'Junior Sports Star of the
Year' and Triathlete Cody Turner for his 'Sporting Spirit Award'.
Our 2018/2019 sports programs
are now in full swing and we are excited to welcome over 100 new athletes and volunteer support staff.
And we are also thrilled to be welcoming back our returning athletes and staff members.
2018/2019
will see the roll-out of a highly comprehensive and completely new athlete education program, designed
specifically for Regional Academy athletes.
This project has taken a lot of hard work by
many and has been financially supported by our friends from ClubsNSW 'Your Local Club'.
The school holidays is a great time for all athletes to develop a solid fitness base, for 2019. So
develop your 'holiday fitness plan' and stick to it. This goes for our wonderful staff as well ha ha...
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, on behalf of the Academy Family.
