a RAPID plan in place will ensure all processes relating to food services and the consumers' nutritional
requirements will be maintained even during the event of an Emergency.

It is imperative that every aged care home has a
robust food and nutrition plan in place to deal with a COVID-19 crisis.
We have prepared
a short checklist to assist you in self-auditing your organisation's preparedness.
If you answer 'no' to any of the key action items, then it is likely you may need help in preparing
an adequate emergency plan.
In the event you have a confirmed case of COVID-19
within your home (staff or resident) you will likely find yourself without food services staff. This can
happen in other outbreaks such as gastroenteritis. It is important to be prepared!
The The Rapid Food and Nutrition Service team will evaluate your Food service and provide
a Gap Analysis to plan and prepare on all key areas ensuring a safe delivery of Food and Nutrition in
an emergency. We will assist you to identify Covid Food Service Champions within your organisation, providing
support and up skilling techniques if required.
