Good Morning everyone.
This email is an
urgent reminder about registrations for your Footbike State Champs event, National Champs, and annual
membership due at the end of this month.
You were advised that we needed to postpone the
Victorian State champs, so here are all the details and new dates. If you haven't already done so,
then please make sure that you register over the next few days so that we have a good idea on numbers.
Early bird entries close one week prior to each event.
NSW
State Champs 30th June Waratah Park cycle track, 40 Rawson Ave, Sutherland 960m and 10km First race
starts at 1pm, so please be there from 12pm
VIC State Champs 7th July
Belmont Island Criterium circuit, 1 Barwon Heads Rd, Geelong 400m and 10km First race starts at
2pm so please be there from 1pm
QLD State Champs 20th July Albert
Bishop Park Hedley Ave Nundah 1.2km and 10.8km First race starts at 1pm, so please be there from
12pm
Australian National Champs 24-25th August Stromlo 1.2km, 10.8km
Saturday and 42km on Sunday. Racing starts at 10am each day, so please be there by 8.30am to help
set everything up.
At each of the state champs we will also run a novice race, which is a
chance for non-members, to race over the same sprint distance we do. This will be run between each of
the races. This means that you can invite friends, or come along as a newbie, to find out what it's
all about. However, if you want the chance to gain a State title, and to accrue Australian Ranking points,
then you do need to be a registered AFA member.

Current Membership renewals are due as at 1st July, as
our membership year goes from 1st July to the 30th June. We will be sending out membership reminders
next week, but you can pay early at the above link.
