Nov/Dec 2019 Kicks - plus volunteers request

It's now less than 2 months till 2020, and it's only 8 months till the next World Championships.  So, Here are the kicks for the next few weeks.  

Sat 16th Nov 6.30am Toombul to Brookside 22km full distance Shorter distances 18km Meet at Toombul shopping Centre lowest carpark opposite the NAB and closest to the East West arterial.  Get together at a Coffee shop afterwards.

Sat 23rd Nov 8.45am - NSW Race day being held at Waratah Park in Sutherland see Footbike.com.au

Sunday 1st Dec 2.30pm VIC Race day being held at Belmont Park in Geelong see footbike.com.au

Sat 7th Dec 6.30am - Moreton Urban Rail Trail - 16km Mango Hill to Kippa and return or 26km if you continue on to Petrie and return. Meet in the Mango Hill train station car park off Meyers Cct in Mango Hill. Coffee and/or Brekkie afterwards at Mango Hill.

Sat 7th Dec 10.30am Kickbike Have-a-go day Meet at Toombul Shopping Centre lower carpark, opposite the NAB on the Southern side of the shopping centre. A nice short flat course where you can try a kickbike, and/or learn an efficient technique. All welcome, but please pre-register by return email, so that I can make sure you get a Kickbike to use. Join us for a coffee afterwards at Billy's in the shopping Centre.

Sat 14th Dec 6.30am Newstead 22km  Newstead kick. Meet at Bright St Kangaroo point, just down from the Story Bridge Hotel. Parking should be available on Bright St, or on McDonald St.  From here we will head out over Story Bridge to New Farm and Breakfast Creek and return back via Newstead and Roma Street parklands. Breakfast at Story Bridge Hotel. All welcome

Monday 16th Dec - Bunning BBQ fundraiser Volunteers required to help raise funds for the AFA shifts 6.30am till 12pm 10.30am till 3pm - 12pm till 4.30pm at Bunnings Stafford. Please let me know which ones you can help with.

Sunday 22nd Dec 6.30am Kickbike Christmas Picnic A short 18km kick followed by a Picnic Brekkie.  This years location will be the Manly foreshore.  Join us for a short kick and then join other kickbikers and relax over brekkie on the beach. You can bring your own picnic, cook your own BBQ brekkie on the provided BBQ's, or go to one of several cafes to get a takeaway brekkie.  We may even have some stand up paddle boards for you to try.
