Yep, it's now just 2 weeks till Christmas and 3 weeks till
2020. The kick last weekend, turned out very warm, and we ended up shortening the kick as a result.
It was great getting out, but we have decided to start this coming weekends kick earlier, to avoid the
heat.
Sat 14th Dec 6am amended time Newstead 22km Newstead kick. Meet at Bright
St Kangaroo point, just down from the Story Bridge Hotel. Parking should be available on Bright St, or
on McDonald St. From here we will head out over Story Bridge to New Farm and Breakfast Creek and return
back via Newstead and Roma Street parklands. Breakfast at Story Bridge Hotel. All welcome

16th Dec - Bunning BBQ fundraiser Volunteers required to help raise funds for the AFA shifts
6.30am till 12pm 10.30am till 3pm - 12pm till 4.30pm at Bunnings Stafford. Please let me know which ones

Sunday 22nd Dec 6.30am
Kickbike Christmas Picnic A short kick followed by a Picnic Brekkie. This years location will be the Manly
foreshore. Join us for a short kick 10km or 18km option and then relax
over brekkie on the beach. You can bring your own picnic, cook your own BBQ brekkie on the provided BBQ's,
or go to one of several cafes to get a takeaway brekkie. We will even have some stand up paddle boards
for you to try.
Sat 4th Jan 6am 22 km
St Lucia Uni kick. Meet on Bright St Kangaroo point, just down from the Story Bridge Hotel. (Refedex Pg
23 Ref C1 Parking should be available on Bright St, or on McDonald St.) From here we will head out
to the University at St Lucia via Coronation Rd, Over the green Bridge and back thru West End for Brekkie
at Southbank. Bring your Go-card if you decide to avoid the climbs and shorten your distance to 16km, by catching the ferry from the Uni to West End.
Sun 12th Jan
6am - Toombul to Brookside 22km full distance Shorter
distances 18km Meet at Toombul shopping Centre lowest carpark opposite
the NAB and closest to the East West arterial. Get together at a Coffee shop afterwards.
