Kickbike Fat Max - Too cool

Kickbike kicks update - Aug Sept 2020

Well, it's nearly the end of winter, and even though we are expecting a cold snap this week, we have a couple of kicks just to finish it off.  We also have a couple of kicks planned to get spring underway in September including the next QLD Footbike race day.

Thankyou for all exercising Covid safe practices, and also please rsvp your intention to come along, so that I know who is kicking, in case of a postponement.

Sat 22nd Aug 7am 24km St Lucia University a challenging kick from Kangaroo point to St Lucia, across the Green bridge and return via Dutton park and West End.  A shorter and much easier option 20km is to catch a ferry from St Lucia to West End. Bring your go Card. Meet at Bright St Kangaroo point, just down from the Story Bridge Hotel. Parking should be available on Bright St, or on McDonald St.  Meet back together for Breakfast or coffee at Story Bridge Hotel.

Sat 29th Aug 7am 24km  Toombul to Brookside. Meet at Toombul shopping centre lower car park (under the airport rail overpass and across the bridge into the lowest carpark).  We will head out through Kedron to Brookside and return. This kick is almost entirely on Bike paths and is mainly flat, and it's an out and back course, so you can pick a shorter distance if you want.

Sun 6th Sept (Fathers day) 8am QLD Footbike Race day Albert Bishop Park Nundah separate email coming out with details Racing starts at 8.30am and is finished by 10.30am A great way to start Fathers day, and can catch up with your family, or your Dad from lunchtime onwards.
