Sat 19th Sept - 7am 22km Toombul to Nudgee
Beach Join us at Toombul Shopping Centre for a flat kick out to Nudgee and return, then coffee/brekkie
afterwards back at Toombul Shopping Centre. This is an out and back course so you can turn around
at any distance. Meet at Toombul shopping Centre lowest carpark opposite the NAB and closest to the East
West arterial road.
Sat 26th Sept 7am 24km
St Lucia University a challenging kick from Kangaroo point to St Lucia, across the Green bridge and return
via Dutton park and West End. A shorter and much easier and flatter option of 21km is to catch a ferry from St Lucia to West End. Bring your Go-Card. Meet at Bright St Kangaroo
point, just down from the Story Bridge Hotel. Parking should be available on Bright St, or on McDonald
St. Meet back together for Breakfast or coffee at Story Bridge Hotel.
Sat 3rd
Oct 7am - 21km Newstead kick starting at Kangaroo point and
heading out through New Farm and back through Newstead and Roma St. A shorter kick from 10-15km is available out to West End and return. Meet at Bright St Kangaroo point, just
down from the Story Bridge Hotel. Parking should be available on Bright St, or on McDonald St. Meet
back together for Breakfast or coffee at Story Bridge Hotel.
Sat 3rd Oct - 11am
- 6-10km kick Join us at Toombul Shopping Centre for a relaxed
pace, flat kick out towards Nudgee along the bike path, then coffee afterwards back at Toombul Shopping
Centre. Meet at Toombul shopping Centre lowest carpark opposite the NAB and closest to the East
West arterial road.
Sat 10th Oct 10am - QLD
State Footbike Champs The AFA is hosting the QLD State Footbike Champs. Being held at Albert Bishop
Park Criterium circuit on Hedley Ave Nundah 2 distances 1.2km time trial, and 10.8km criterium.
Racing starts at 10.30am so you'll need to be there by 10am latest. For details of qualification
and registration please see footbike.com.au/event-registration - There will be novice category racing
available at this event, so please talk to Bruce if you are interested.
