AUstralian Footbike Association AGM 2020

The Australian Footbike Association is holding its Annual General Meeting on Sunday 8th November at 4pm QLD time, 5pm NSW Daylight time.

All AFA members are welcome to attend the AGM, even if just to see how the AFA operates, and/or to have your say on the following matters.

The agenda for this years AGM will be as follows.

  • Election of Association officers and committee members
  • Verifying AFA financials for 2019/2020 financial year
  • Confirming membership fees for next year
  • Confirming Race fees

The current incumbents have indicated their interest in retaining their current positions, but if you would like to put your names forward and have a seconder, then let Bruce know asap at team@footbike.com.au so that we can organise to hold a vote at the AGM.

QLD State Champs 10th October.  We have decided to make this a QLD race day, with the State Champs being held later. This is due to the following reasons:

- The Bunnings BBQ being held the next day,
- The lack of registrations so far.
- The limited numbers at previous race days will result in less attendees due to our qualification rules for states. This will give more people the chance to have racing experience, and better competition with higher numbers when we do have the State Champs.
- Cross border participants may then be able to attend.

All other details remain the same, but it will be a QLD Race Day, NOT the QLD state Champs.  Sorry for those that have been training specifically.  We will give you plenty of notice for the new Champs date.

Cheers
