Profile | Kamil Qureshi - Great start for an early career Alumnus
Congratulations to Kamil Qureshi (far right), Bachelor of Commerce graduate
from 2012, who has recently secured a great position with Crowe Horwath. Kamil, who was an international
student, began his studies with Griffith in 2010 and successfully completed his Commerce degree with a
major in Accounting. He has very generously attributed his professional success thus far to Griffith
University, and says his degree helped him to develop professionally within Australia...Read

Business School among world's top educators
Griffith
University‘s reputation as a world leader in business education has been enhanced after Griffith
Business School‘s AACSB International accreditation was extended last month. The Association to
Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation remains the hallmark of excellence in business education,
and has been earned by less than five percent of the world‘s business schools. Griffith Business

Appeal encourages alumni to ‘give back’
Late
last year we launched a fundraising appeal in support of students and facilities at Griffith Business
School.
The “Transforming Business” appeal is timed to coincide with the development
of the School’s spectacular new home, currently under construction on the Gold Coast campus.

New program partnership for 2014
Griffith Business School, in collaboration with the Personal Injury Education
Foundation (PIEF), has introduced a Graduate Certificate in Personal Injury Management in 2014. The program
is available online and includes a residential component in Melbourne. The program is ideal for those
working in personal injury management and who are ready to position themselves for the next major step

Griffith Business School building nears completion
Progress on the new business building on the Gold Coast campus continues to
move at a great pace - so much so we anticipate the facility will be operational from late May. From Semester

GBS Work Integrated Learning Internship program continues to grow and strengthen in leaps and bounds due
to the increasing participation and support of our Alumni business leaders. Designed to increase final
year business student’s employability, the Internship program gives participating students an edge

Appointment of the
Dean (Academic), Griffith Business School
We
are pleased to advise that Professor Linda Trenberth has been appointed incoming Dean (Academic) with
Griffith Business School from 1 April 2014. Professor Trenberth is currently Pro Vice-Master (Academic
Development) at Birkbeck College, University of London, and Deputy Dean of the School of Business, Economics
and Informatics at Birkbeck. She was previously Head of the Department of Management at Birkbeck and has
served as Director of both undergraduate and postgraduate programs...Read
